Once you know the routine of ringing at 08.30 to get a same day appointment then it works as I've nearly always got an appointment. Sometimes though it is frustrating when you might want an afternoon one and can't get one. Once you get your appointment though the doctors and nurses are very good and very approachable. I find the reception staff a little unwelcoming and no so helpful though it is a hard job sometimes so I'm not really surprised. Whenever I've had cause to use my doctors they always involve you in what they are recommending and provide any explanations that you need. Overall they must be okay as we've (family of 3) been with the surgery for over 20 years and if we'd have had a problem we would certainly have moved! The nurses are lovely, helpful and very reassuring.

I find that the easiest way to get an appt is to 'phone or better still, if possible, turn up in person at or before 8.30am to make an appt on the day. I see Dr Patel quite regularly and really appreciate the fact that she really listens and also takes a holistic view and does not purely suggest more pills. I also like the fact that I can arrange for her to 'phone me instead of wasting her time with an appt.

This is one of the worst surgeries I have been to . It's impossible to get an appointment and you get sent to the Teddington walk in centre. The main Dr is very unhelpful. On many occasions refused to prescribe me certain treatment. I had many problems with the receptionists who are very rude and unhelpful. The surgery looks modern and clean but that's as far as the service goes. The only good Dr is the male one. I wouldn't recommend this surgery if you need to see a doctor quite often.

The nurses at this surgery are exceptionally pleasant, understanding, knowledgeable and helpful. Appoinments are easy once you are having a course of treatment although initial appointments can be difficult. Telephone consultations are available and work well

I have been registered here for about ten years. It has always been a good practice (and I am well-placed to recognise this as I have previously worked as a nurse in two other surgeries in the Richmond area, both excellent, myself). In the last few years it has become even better, with the introduction of the very convenient services for online appointment booking and repeat prescription ordering, extended opening hours, an active and welcoming patient representative group, of which I am a member, and excellent staff. It is always a pleasure to go into the surgery as it is clean, calming and well-decorated, with plenty of seating. If the doctor or nurse you are booked to see is running a little late, as is to be expected if good, thorough consultations are occurring, then this is not a bad place to spend some time relaxing! The current nurse and health care assistant are excellent, being both friendly and knowledgeable. I haven't yet needed to take advantage of the new 'out of hours' system, but am reassured by the fact that now being staffed by local GPs, it is far better than the old system. The availability of advice over the phone, and access, if needed, to top notch local GPs staffing the out of hours service, is excellent - nobody should need to visit A&E for a non-emergency problem. I am very happy for my family and I to be registered here. Thank you.
